Opiniones

Good afternoon, first of all, thank you for the care you've given my mother. To all the cleaning staff, cooks, laundry workers, assistants, receptionists, maintenance staff, nurses, rehabilitation staff, doctors, and Lola, thank you for the love and care you show our elderly residents. You took care of my mother in our absence. Thank you for the flowers, but there's always a "but": that manager should continue hiring more people and strengthen this wonderful family you are, because the love is there, but you need a little more staff. Greetings from my family.

I have nothing but words of gratitude for a center that praises, motivates, and cares for both its residents and its staff. I've witnessed firsthand how the effort, dedication, and affection of the center's employees are rewarded, motivating them to continue growing professionally and personally. It fosters a warm and positive environment, like a family working together for the well-being of its residents.

Cursed be the day I entrusted my parents' care to this nursing home. They left my mother with diaper rash so severe that the hospital staff were shocked by her condition upon arrival—her flesh was rotting, she was dehydrated, and she had an infection that will kill her. They are thieves who charge over €2,300 a month, pay shameful wages, and mistreat their employees and residents. Never leave any of your family at Domusvi. And spare me the apologies. My mother contracted COVID twice at that facility, and they refuse to take responsibility. They make you sign a waiver releasing the facility from liability upon admission. They never brushed my mother's teeth, and I discovered that all the tubes of toothpaste were unused. And that's another thing: they don't allow you to access the rooms without an appointment so you can't see the lack of care they promise when you hire them outside of visiting hours. They should be put in jail for playing with the lives of our elderly like that.

My words for this center will always be of gratitude. Places are made by the people, and here, from the first to the last, everyone is wonderful. I don't want to mention names because I don't want to leave anyone out. Making the decision to take your loved ones to a care facility is one of the hardest things you can do. A mix of emotions floods in and haunts you. If, in those difficult moments, you find kind, caring, and professional people who make those moments lighter, everything becomes easier. Thank you for your kindness and dedication. We need professionals with heart like yourselves.

Our family deeply regrets entrusting our mother's care to this residence. She passed away in less than three weeks. She did not receive the attention and protection she deserved and needed. They failed to take seriously a moment that proved to be vital. If we could go back, we would not have placed our trust in the DomusVi San Vicente residence. It is too late now, but we are posting this review in case it might help other families.
