I needed a place for a family member, and every time I went, they told me they would call me, but they never did. The social worker was either never there or busy. One day I managed to speak with a nun, and to my despair, she laughed at me. I know of "heavy" people who have been admitted overnight. The nuns continue to act the same way they did when they "stole" children, and it seems they won't change.

Hello, I wanted to say that my mother came from a center in La Cruz Chica. And I have nothing but good things to say about this center. The nuns are very kind and attentive, as are all the staff. My mother is very happy, and in her own words, she said, "Oh, my daughter, I am happy here, and that's all that matters to me." Thank you to the Hermas de la Candelaria nursing home in Santa Cruz.

I cannot give it a lower rating. I have been working with preschool students since 2015, and even as a teacher until almost the end of 2018, and I have never had problems as serious as those at this care home. While I visited a woman for over eight years, the situation was normal; but from January of this year, 2025, until today, June 16th, and considering that I visit twice a week for approximately four hours each day, the behavior of the nun on my floor (whose name I will not specify) and two assistants who are also very disrespectful to me is intolerable. My question is this: If these three people treat me this way, how much worse will they treat the elderly residents? I will tell all the staff that there isn't a single resident who doesn't care for me. They have known me for many years. And for me, they are my family. If you truly want me out of your circle because you call me an enemy, then kick me out; but tell me very clearly and in writing. To conclude, I will say that I would leave with my head held high and that God sees all the evil you do to others. I hope you don't complicate my life any further and that you follow the rules, if you even have any, because since I started volunteering, unlike when I used to visit, there has been a complete dereliction of duty by the people I have to deal with directly, much to my dismay. For the sake of the elderly, I hope you correct your behavior; mine couldn't be more exemplary: I have been helping the elderly at the center with a monthly donation since January of this year. AND TO THE ASSISTANTS.

My grandmother has been there for just over ten years, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it, starting with the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities and the staff's hospitality. They are lovely people, both the nuns who run it and the hired staff and volunteers, who make the stay of the grandmothers and grandfathers who live there much more pleasant. They always have activities for their entertainment and enjoyment, and almost every week there are parties the family can attend. The food is also good and varied.

What can I say about this center? For me, it's the best on the island. Both the staff and the caregivers are a 10/10, absolutely wonderful. I recommend it 100%. I've visited several centers, and none compare to this one. The residents are very well cared for, they participate in activities, and the food is outstanding. I'm delighted. Thank you to everyone at the center for being the best caregivers, especially Y..i and N....a.
