Opiniones

I visited this marvellous place in Tenerife Spain where love and affection come together. The Elderly are treated with such a passion and enthusiasm that make this place unique High standards of care is the aim of the organization which emerge from Christians principles. Ladies and gentlemen, who is free to post their own review, or are only positive ones acceptable? I've been a nurse for 23 years, and my father lived in this nursing home. I'm not publishing his name out of respect, as he has since passed away. From the moment I began speaking with this nurse, I realized she lacked basic medical and nursing knowledge. My father's health soon deteriorated considerably. I can't say if it was due to her poor practices and lack of knowledge or the natural course of his illness; I will always have that doubt. Following the center's own instructions, and with my father still there, waiting for a place at another nursing home, I wrote to the center's president expressing my complaint about this worker, but I never received a response. Fortunately, they gave me a place at another nursing home; I was able to get my father out and enjoy him for a few more years, cared for until his last minute by great professionals. I hope my testimony will be useful to many family members, allowing them to appreciate in whose hands we leave our loved ones.

Good evening! Last week we posted a review asking how we can access the center. They are denying us entry and haven't responded. Furthermore, they've deleted the review. Is this a form of elder abuse? Should we request a court order?

Important message. Two years ago I posted a positive review of Cedar Residence, but a lot has happened since then. There has been mismanagement with insufficient and unqualified staff. Cleanliness is lacking. Everything is covered in dust and paint is peeling off the walls (for example, the guest bathroom on the ground floor). My wife had to be helped to eat at the doctor's request. This didn't result in her losing a significant amount of weight in a short period of time. Fortunately, I was able to get her out, and now she can spend her final years in a residence where the residents and their health are fully cared for.
