Situation: Reus, August 21, 2023, 11:45 a.m., temperature 31ºC. Three dependent residents were sitting in the blazing sun on the benches of Passeig Prim, located in front of the nursing home. Two caregivers stood impassively, their eyes glued to their mobile phones. Naturally, as people with feelings, we confronted one of the supposed caregivers about his negligent attitude, asking him to move the elderly residents into the shade, give them water, or take them inside the nursing home. The supposed caregiver stood up with a mocking smile and moved them into the shade. Several days have passed, and we still remember the look on the face of one of the residents in her wheelchair, who, with a slight blink, thanked us for what any decent person would have done. Of course, those of us who witnessed this incident presented the case, along with evidence, to the appropriate authorities so that action could be taken. To those who care for their elderly relatives, PLEASE visit Paseo Prim at certain times.

My father died in this residence a few days after we were going to get him out of there, my father asked us to get him out of there, and two days later they called me on the phone and told me that he had died, I demanded that they give me my father's medical report and they refused to give it to me, yelling at me on the phone with laughter and mockery shouting that my father died of old age, very poorly attended, when I went to see him his urine bag was full to bursting and I had to call the nurse, they told my father that he had to go down to dinner and he couldn't because he had no strength in his legs, don't leave your elders in this residence, my shame was not having gotten him out of there the same day he told me, he told me and he died the next day, with a strong storm a piece of the ceiling of the room fell and it was flooded with water, what a coincidence that we were already going to get my father out of there and the next day he died, everything was very strange, I filed the complaint to tried for refusing to give me the medical report
