I would like to file this complaint through this channel so that it reaches the appropriate person. I have been to the residence on several occasions, as my best friend's sister is a resident there. On one occasion, she asked to speak with the director. The receptionist went to inform her, and to our surprise, we overheard the director telling her that she was very tired and didn't want to speak with family members, telling her she was busy. To make matters worse, we returned another day. We tried to speak with her again, as her door was open, but it was impossible. She was talking to a staff member, shouting at her in a manner unbecoming of a director. Before leaving, we spoke with some staff members about what had happened, and they confirmed that this is the treatment they receive from her. They are always afraid of reprisals, so I invite her superior to come and speak with the staff, who, by the way, are wonderful and do a job that goes unpaid. Working with dependent people and those with disorders is very difficult.

I couldn't be more outraged with this care home. The food is awful; you shouldn't give elderly people that kind of food. For what it costs—sausages in wine and hamburgers—you call to ask about your relative and they tell you lies, which you realize are false when you go there. My mother is there because I live far away, and it's absolute agony every day wondering how she is. I absolutely do not recommend it.
