Opiniones

I want to thank the professional team at the Montepinar Residence. My father spent the last year there, and I have nothing but words of gratitude. Thanks to the center's director, Miguel Cuenca, you made room for us at the residence during one of the most difficult times of our lives. You gave us guidance, and indeed, the center is fully equipped to care for people with the challenges my father faced. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Regarding the review by María Dolores González Noguera, who is the granddaughter of the person mentioned, and as that person's daughter, I have to say that my daughter's comments about this residence have fallen short. At first, everything was fine since my mother was semi-independent, but when she became dependent, the care and attention became appalling. I can't share photos of the times my mother went through there, such as the bruises all over her body, a broken ankle when she couldn't walk, poor hygiene, food scraps on her clothes and in her mouth, eye discharge, and a dirty wheelchair. Although the owner claims it was due to the pandemic, that's a lie because all of this happened long afterward. My mother's case was grounds for a complaint, and I imagine there are others in the same situation. We had a meeting, and they just kept passing the buck. There were no explanations, and no one took responsibility. The last time my mother was hospitalized, it was because, according to them, she was weak and had low blood pressure. They admitted her that same day because she was dying—that's the kind of care they gave her. When they admitted her, they found an ulcer on her lower back that had reached the muscle. I regret putting her there. If I could go back, I wouldn't put her in a nursing home, much less this one. They pretend to be professionals, but they don't care about people or their work. They don't seem to like it, because if they truly had a vocation, they wouldn't have done what they did to my mother.

A very good care home. I did my physiotherapy placement there and witnessed the excellent care given to the residents, who were well looked after. I would especially like to highlight my supervisor, the care home's physiotherapist, for his professionalism and kindness.

This residence doesn't deserve even one star. From the very first moment, the lack of organization and professionalism was evident. The staff seems insufficient. On several occasions, I observed delays in basic care and a lack of empathy from some employees. Furthermore, communication with the management is poor; when complaints or concerns arise, responses are delayed or nonexistent. I would not recommend this residence.

A care home unlike any other in Murcia, with impeccable cleanliness and meticulous attention to every aesthetic detail. As for the staff, there's no comparison: the caregivers are attentive, professional, and warm with the residents; the nurses are highly trained and thorough in their work; and as for the physiotherapist, Nacho, I can only take my hat off to him. He's a true professional; my mother entered in a wheelchair, and two months later, I saw her walking—I couldn't believe it. Without a doubt, it's the best care home I've ever stayed in, both for its price and service. I recommend it to everyone.
