Opiniones

I WANT TO SHARE MY REAL EXPERIENCE AT THIS CENTER. My grandmother lived here, and I can say with complete certainty that, in our experience, it has been THE BEST RESIDENCE IN THE REGION. I've read negative comments on this profile, and honestly, IN OUR CASE, THEY ARE NOT TRUE. I can vouch for the treatment, care, and constant attention my grandmother received at all times. THE MANAGER IS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL AND A WONDERFUL PERSON. She always provided us with all the information we needed, with transparency, warmth, and respect. My grandmother, even in her final days, said it was THE BEST PLACE SHE COULD HAVE BEEN. She repeatedly said she received excellent care and was more comfortable than in her own home. As a family, that's priceless. I also want to add something important: THERE ARE VISITING HOURS FOR ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSES AND FOR THE WELL-BEING OF THE RESIDENTS. Just like in hospitals or health centers, healthcare professionals need their time to properly care for our loved ones. STAFF MUST PROVIDE MEDICAL CONSULTATIONS, PHYSIOTHERAPY, AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. Without order and planning, a center cannot function properly. Organization is not a lack of attention; it's responsibility. My sincere thanks to the entire team for the care, patience, and dedication with which they looked after my grandmother.

Just under eight years ago, I ruled out this nursing home as an option when I was looking for one for my parents. I went to visit it and couldn't go in because there was only one caregiver, and she was changing diapers, so she told me she couldn't help me... just one caregiver? It was the only nursing home in all of Cartagena that I couldn't get into. I never went back because of the bad impression it made on me back then. Now I've come across this nursing home again 😬 I don't know of any other like this one where the resident takes their own bed, as they all have adjustable beds. Nor do I know of any where you have to bring the receipt to the nursing home if you buy them anything, or where they wear bathrobes around the facility, or where you have to make an appointment a day in advance to visit a resident (those Covid times are over). And on top of that, you have to be in a WhatsApp group they create to see a resident. I've visited many nursing homes while visiting various relatives (Las Palas, DomusVi, Carmen Conde, Casa de Campo, R3, and Los Almendros), so I know what I'm talking about. I find it curious that the reviews are either 1 star or 5 stars; there's no middle ground. And that there's more than one review, even from the same person and a group with the same last name, all giving it 5 stars. This prevents the average rating from being any lower than it already is. Reading the reviews, the residence is quite shocking, and in a bad way (isolation from family members, Civil Guard presence) 😳 If it were up to me, I wouldn't take anyone there 😔

It's not fair that people who don't directly care for their family members, who even hire unregistered caregivers, then take them to a care home and post hurtful comments. Care homes aren't paradises. They are centers that offer the best possible quality of life, affection, companionship, and the necessary care for our elderly. If you're so unhappy, take care of them personally. Don't demand what you don't do in your own homes. It's not right to take someone there without medical tests or checkups and then insult, defame, or threaten them on social media instead of going to the center to ask for explanations. It's very easy to be brave behind a screen. Read the positive reviews too. They demonstrate the real work of those who truly value the effort and dedication to our elderly. ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO TRULY NEED IT.

I think some of the reviews are unfair. I was lucky enough to meet my mother-in-law at the care home, and unfortunately, she's no longer with us. What I can say about her is that she seemed happy, and all the staff were wonderful. I never saw her unwell; quite the opposite. And even though she's gone, a part of everyone who cared for her has also left. They are very professional, always attentive to her well-being, not to mention the pain she has left in their hearts. I just want to say that reviews are a labyrinth of mirrors, and they only reflect each person's perspective; they reveal where the truth is. Thank you all for making my mother-in-law so happy and for giving her a place in your hearts. I also want to say that you were all by our side at all times, sharing in our grief.

There's a lot of secrecy surrounding what's happening inside; they don't answer our questions about our relative, nor do they monitor their health. Furthermore, the way the staff and the director treat us leaves much to be desired.
