My family and I are very happy with how they treat my mother, who has been there for almost five years. The residence is outstanding for the kindness of all the staff, who provide a personal and friendly approach. It's a large, beautiful, and clean residence, and very well organized. Of course, there are always things that could be improved.

It was a great residence... After many years of doing things right... it earned a great reputation.... It's a shame that for some time now... things have been getting worse... Since they handed the reins to whoever took over, it's been going downhill... You can see how long-time staff are leaving, and new assistants have been coming in nonstop for a while now... My grandmother has been there a long time and has experienced both the good times and the bad times... The food is scarce; the nuns tell the staff how much to put on the plates, and if they want seconds, they have to wait to see if there are any leftovers... and if they're lucky, they might get seconds... (lucky is for those who get them). The director there now just does what one of the younger nuns tells her. Since Mother Ana left... nothing is the same... The staff seem more and more overwhelmed every day, and that overwhelm ultimately affects our family members, the residents. In short, poor management on many fronts... especially when they realize that veteran assistants are missing, and then see new ones arrive, creating another adjustment process because it's another new assistant, losing the previous one they were fond of and trusted... they have a hard time. And we're not talking about veteran assistants being on vacation... Because they've been missing for months... It's a shame that a residence that once had such a good reputation is now in this state....

The receptionist's attitude was disappointing. When I spoke to her and explained why I was there, her expression was one of disbelief. I told her to change her expression, that I didn't want to talk to her anymore. The reason for my visit and inquiry was: I was wondering if it was possible for an elderly homeless person, who had just lost her home, to be taken in? I had been told at another nursing home that Madre Carmen did this, but I was unaware that it wasn't the case until I saw the state of the residence and the employee's response. In short, a bad experience!

Undoubtedly one of the best residences in Malaga. Its location and the services it offers are excellent. But above all, I want to highlight the attentive care given to the residents. The activities organized for them, the careful and personalized attention, and the close and communicative relationship with families are outstanding. I must emphasize the professionalism and dedication of the staff. (During the pandemic, their commitment was crucial). I greatly appreciate the activities they organize for the residents. Last year, they even had a live nativity scene at Christmas. They go out of their way to keep the residents active and comfortable, offering them activities that continue to stimulate their social, relational, and family life, fostering a positive community atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who works there.

I wouldn't know where to begin... I've been working for almost two months with a heavy workload and many illogical demands from the nuns, which have completely burned out the entire staff. I haven't made any mistakes, I've treated the residents and colleagues well, I haven't missed a single day, I've never been late, I've worked extra shifts they asked me to, and one morning shift, just 10 minutes from finishing, they're firing me because of these "details," without the director, Amalia, being able to give me a clear reason. Sister Ana Sofía does nothing but spy on people and point out surreal flaws. It's a hostile environment; I'd even say you go to work in fear, wondering what kind of scolding you'll get today. A bedspread, according to them, is incorrectly placed; there's foam in the sink... a ponytail instead of an updo... I could say a thousand other things... I hope no one ever has to work there... but of course... off to Mass and beating their chests every day... I don't think God wants this kind of treatment for those of us who work with the residents out of a sense of vocation. And speaking of us workers, we could say no. Goodbye forever, and today I thank you. A dreadful residence. The nuns should dedicate themselves to anything but dealing with other people.
