Opiniones

For several years now, I have maintained a relationship with the Novocare Residence in Coín, since several family members have already received the care they deserve from the staff, for whom I have nothing but words of gratitude.

Most senior centers tend to be severely understaffed, lacking in services and treatment. This center in Coín is no exception. The staff is very kind and courteous when you visit, and they certainly try to maintain the center with the limited resources they have. In my case, a good friend was cared for there for a while. However, this friend didn't have any family nearby to visit him. This resulted in the services he received being inadequate. No relatives regularly checked on him, leading to a lack of attention and inadequate personal and bed hygiene. I believe that in these cases, ethically, even greater attention should be given, but this wasn't the case. I've attached some photos, which I leave open to interpretation. Both are of the center. Regards.

Sad is an understatement. My father was there because I live very close by. Mind you, he was privately cared for in a single room, 2,200 euros a month, a not inconsiderable sum for truly poor care. Poor care, poor food. By this I mean that my father, a diabetic, was given food he couldn't eat and it was scarce, two meatballs per person... The problem with this nursing home is outrageous: two people to care for 80 elderly people for the board, but another 10 privately, two people? And they also have to do laundry, which is never clean and they lose it because it's marked. It's supposed to be one worker for every six residents. Where's the inspector from the Andalusian regional government? This nursing home is pathetic, and what makes me think is that it's supposed to be one of the best in the area... I don't want to imagine what the others are like.
