La Residencia para mayores Sierra de Cazorla recibe evaluaciones muy dispares que reflejan inconsistencias en la calidad de atención: mientras algunos usuarios destacan la limpieza, amabilidad del personal y trato excelente hacia los residentes, otros reportan fallos graves en la coordinación del equipo, negligencia en la administración de medicamentos y falta de supervisión adecuada para personas con mayor dependencia. As long as the residents are independent and mobile enough to do their own thing, there's no problem, but as soon as they need more attention, everything gets complicated. I don't know what's going on with the staff, but they're not very coordinated, and that causes a lot of problems. They might have a doctor's appointment and not notify or prepare the residents. If the doctor prescribes urgent medication and you call to let them know, they come back a week later saying they knew nothing about it and hadn't even gone to the pharmacy or bothered to give them the medication. After an operation, when a resident needs more care, they're still left alone, and there's no proper supervision, even when they're much more clumsy than usual. I don't think I need to give more details, but it's borderline in my case that I should file a complaint for negligence. Perhaps they don't have enough staff for so many residents, or perhaps they're not paid enough; I don't know. But what I do know is that it's causing us a lot of frustration, and I wish we could move the resident to another facility. It's a shame; with a little more care and coordination, we could all be more at ease.
