Opiniones

We finally left this care home. My deepest gratitude and 5 stars to the physiotherapy team and the rest of the staff who do what they can with so few personnel. And for the owners and management, they deserve my highest praise. Their profit motive leads them to have so few nurses and nursing assistants that errors have been frequent. It started shortly after we arrived; although they had all the necessary paperwork, they forgot to record the bisoprolol prescription. Okay, then the vitamin B, fine, but when the errors escalated, the fentanyl patch, which is supposed to be applied every 72 hours, was given at 36 hours and another at 48 hours. It was becoming unbearable. The last time, they prescribed 5 days of inhalers for severe bronchitis, but only administered them for 2 days during the Immaculate Conception long weekend. Why? It was overlooked. I'm still waiting for an apology because, as they told me, I had to understand that they have 200 residents, and I'm just ONE mother. They were going to take her away in an ambulance, my colleague told us; they had the wrong patient. They even did a urine test on my own colleague, and she said, "I have no symptoms. They had the wrong patient. They're billing me for a service they didn't provide. They had the wrong patient." They left a pill in her mouth because she was asleep and didn't check if she had swallowed it, with the risk of aspiration or choking, and ALL because the poor women were running around like crazy trying to do everything. Impossible. And they'll say they comply with regulations, maybe on paper, but they absolutely do not provide good service, especially not for €2220 for a double room, the minimum you pay. No, this residence is not recommended. It has wide hallways, bedrooms, and a luxurious dining room, but the most important thing is the very deficient care staff. Although they all tried to do everything, it was impossible for them. It's a shame, I would have liked to say something different, that my mother lived there well, but we have had to look for another place where the nurse ratio is the same but instead of for 200 residents it's for 90, a tiny difference.

I am grateful to all the professionals for the care my recently deceased mother received. During the year and a half she was there, it was exceptional. From the management, Elena and Ana, to the psychologist Zulema, the doctors and all the professionals, like Lucia and Joaquin... I'm forgetting some names... to all the assistants and for the expertise that characterizes them all. From the bottom of my heart... thank you so much...

I don't have enough space to list all the deficiencies and negligence that have occurred while my grandmother has been in this care home. ALL of them stem from staff shortages and the complete lack of shame on the part of the management. Any medication, such as inhalers, is administered according to the shifts of the available nurses, not the prescribed schedule. So, an inhaler that's supposed to be taken every 12 hours was given at breakfast, which was at 10:00 AM, and then again in the afternoon at 5:00 PM. Doing some simple math, that works out to about 7 hours between doses, not 12. That might be convenient for the staff shortage during the night shift, but it's not healthy at all for my grandmother. And this is just one example out of 20. It's a disgrace. I would never go back and I would never recommend it to anyone.

My mother came in to recover from hip surgery, and they took excellent care of her. They provided all the rehabilitation she needed. Since she was well cared for and there are very good professionals, she decided to stay there, and now this is her home. The treatment is very personalized. They can put whatever they like in their room and go for walks in the spacious, tree-lined outdoor areas. Above all, the staff's kindness is appreciated. Thank you for taking care of them.
