My mother was in this residence for about a year, because due to her delicate state of health she could no longer be at home. It was the best option and I will never be able to express my gratitude enough to the entire team of this residence. Both for the treatment towards my mother and towards the relatives and especially towards me, who went to visit her twice a week. My mother recently died, and I am very happy that the last months of her life she was able to be happy at the Vall del Terri Residence. Really, thank you very much. With all my heart.

First, I had my mother in a very expensive paid nursing home with a deposit under very abusive conditions. The service was very poor, and the family members were treated with very poor care. They were kept in the dark when, for example, they sent her to the Trueta Hospital for a period of time without me knowing or even being informed, even though I was her only child. They didn't give me a medical report when she returned to the nursing home, in addition to proven cases of negligence in other areas. This nursing home was in Banyoles, and I had to place her there because her very deteriorating health didn't allow her to be at home. At that time, due to the COVID-19 nonsense, I couldn't find a place in other nursing homes, which were subject to restrictions imposed by the Generalitat (Catalan government) as soon as a user tested positive. Some time later, I got a public place in Cornellà de Terri (in the "Vall del Terri" nursing home), and I kept my mother there for a short time, while Parkinson's and other illnesses unfortunately consumed her too quickly, and she couldn't take it any longer, ultimately dying. During her time there, a few weeks, both she and her family were treated very well, with very kind and attentive care, which, in addition to professionalism, I would add humanity and understanding. They were also not cheap: before charging the bill, they usually sent it well in advance so I could approve it or if there was anything to object to. And they certainly didn't include any extra charges without first consulting the family member. Details like these are appreciated, as they weren't available at other nursing homes. Consequently, at this nursing home called "Vall de Terri," they make a difference in two basic ways: very professional, attentive, pleasant, and kind staff. And the accounts are very clear, with prior information for subsequent approval by the family manager. I highly recommend this nursing home, and I'm very satisfied with it, considering it's fortunate that nursing homes like this exist, when unfortunately the same can't be said of other nursing homes. So, to all the professionals at the "Vall de Terri" nursing home—caregivers, psychologist, coordinator, doctor, director, etc.—I am very grateful, and I make it public with this review.
