My grandfather lived in the care home for about eight years. He recently passed away at the age of 90. When we first arrived, the home was run by nuns and was very well managed. About two years ago, it was taken over by a private company. I can only say that the result of the change has been extraordinary. It wasn't easy for the management to switch from what we might call a "social" model to a private one. The result has been spectacular. I must say that in these last two years, under the new management, my grandfather received incredibly good care, right up until his last breath. Special mention goes to Berta, the director, and her team. It's a highly recommended place if, due to unforeseen circumstances, a loved one needs care and attention that would be impossible to provide within the family. Thank you for everything.
