La Residència assistida Toribi Duran destaca por su equipo dedicado que ofrece actividades variadas, cuidados amorosos y una participación activa en la vida comunitaria, ganándose la gratitud de las familias por su atención especialmente durante momentos difíciles como la pandemia. Sin embargo, la residencia enfrenta críticas significativas relacionadas con sus instalaciones antiguas, la falta de comunicación con las familias de los residentes y reportes recientes de insatisfacción, lo que sugiere que aunque el personal es valorado, existen problemas operacionales que necesitan atención urgente.

I must say that the team that runs this Residence goes out of their way to make the people at CASA as good as possible. Every day there are different activities to do and, whoever wants to, can participate in them (without obligation, freely). They take care of the inmates with love, patience and dedication and every now and then they look for ways to motivate them. They periodically go out to the outside either to go for a walk, participate in activities outside the Center or to go to lunch at a restaurant (depending on the person's condition). They participate, within their possibilities, in all the local festivals and celebrate Christmas, New Year's Eve, Three Kings, Sant Jordi,... and collaborate with educational centers, the City Council, the Retirement Home,... In short, non-stop!! My gratitude for taking care of our relatives at a time when they are vulnerable. You are always thinking about making improvements for the good of people. One star is missing from the rating because the facilities are old but it seems that there is an intention to make ongoing arrangements...They have already started. Cheers and FORWARD!!

I have my mother-in-law admitted and I am personally grateful for the way this residence operates. Especially during the pandemic, where they always made it easier for me not to lose contact and to be able to see her. Here is this comment where I thank all the staff for the treatment I received. IT IS A OLD RESIDENCE IN AN OLD MODERNIST BUILDING RENOVATED THAT BELONGED TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF CASTELLÓ D'EMPÚRIES AND WAS CONVERTED INTO A GERIATRIC RESIDENCE. FOR WHAT MEDICAL SERVICES YOU SHOULD GO TO THE ALT EMPORDÀ REGIONAL HOSPITAL, FIGUERES HOSPITAL, FUNDACIÓ SALUT EMPORDÀ.
