La Residencia de Mayores La Luz presenta opiniones muy polarizadas: mientras algunos usuarios destacan la excelente atención del personal, la calidad de la comida y el cuidado dedicado que hace que los residentes no quieran irse, otros reportan experiencias muy negativas con falta de atención, trato degradante hacia los mayores y una gestión deficiente que ignora las quejas. A truly reliable residence, from the management to the attentive care of all the caregivers and staff. I must highlight the wonderful service provided by Manuela and Cristina [at reception], who help you with everything and make you feel right at home. My mother stayed for five months and was very happy. They offered her a place in a public facility, but she didn't want to leave, which shows how well she was treated. The food, hygiene, and care are outstanding. The only downside is that the residents spend a lot of time in a dimly lit basement. Otherwise, a huge thank you to all the staff for your dedication and care for the elderly.

Things have changed a lot at this care home. It's not what it used to be. They don't care about the well-being of the elderly. They just park them and little else. There are warning signs that they ignore unless family members are on top of things. From what I see, this is unfortunately quite common lately in most centers. Little humanity and little professionalism. Not recommended at this time; they receive no attention if needed. The independent residents don't cause any trouble, and those who really need help don't receive it properly. I think you pay enough to expect better.

This care home is by far the worst I've ever been to. I've had the opportunity to see the work firsthand, and it's been utter chaos. They treat the residents terribly, leaving them in a room practically all day with nothing to do but sleep. The management team completely ignores everything; instead of verifying the information they receive, they simply do whatever someone tells them. I wouldn't recommend this care home to anyone. Many of the staff lack empathy.

My rating for this residence is very poor because I have visited residents several times and the treatment by some of the staff is degrading. They treat the residents badly and disrespectfully, ignoring them, and the management turns a blind eye. I do not recommend it.
