Vitalia San Rafael destaca por su equipo humano excepcional y la calidad de atención que brinda a los residentes y sus familias, con múltiples testimonios que elogian la dedicación, empatía y profesionalismo del personal en todos los niveles. Sin embargo, la residencia presenta deficiencias significativas en aspectos operativos, como un servicio telefónico deficiente que dificulta el contacto inicial y problemas con sistemas de audio en la entrada que afectan a los vecinos, lo que sugiere una desconexión entre la excelente atención directa y la gestión administrativa.

I live next to the residence, and since they installed an intercom with a sound system that doesn't meet the permitted decibel levels, every time someone knocks on the front door, we hear it throughout the house. The worst part is that they start knocking at 6 a.m., and on weekends, it's even worse. Please turn down the sound at the entrance because it sounds like a PA system!!!

My grandmother is a resident at the center, and we are very happy and grateful for the care she has received from the entire team. From the caregivers and nurses to the reception staff, physiotherapist, social worker, coordinator, management, and kitchen staff, everyone has been wonderful. It's a residence where residents are treated with great compassion.

I only have words of gratitude for the staff at this center. My mother's case is very complicated and exceptional, as she is a young person with behavioral disorders. Although this wasn't the appropriate center due to her serious conditions, the Vitalia San Rafael team worked tirelessly caring for her for an entire year until the regional government finally granted us a place at the more specialized center we needed. A place that, by the way, we wouldn't have obtained without their help. They advocated for us at every turn and never abandoned us, even though they could have washed their hands of the case from the very beginning, since we had a private placement. Far from it, the staff at Vitalia San Rafael treated me like family, always showing great affection towards us and my mother. They accompanied us to doctors' appointments, to the emergency room, helped us find resources, and went above and beyond to try to help my mother improve so she could stay there, but ultimately, it depends solely on her health. In short: a huge thank you to the social workers Inma and Marta, without whom we wouldn't have secured the place we wanted so quickly. A special thank you to the psychology team, María Jesús and Ana Belén, for their constant support for both my mother and us. A big thank you to the entire healthcare team: Mamen, Amilca, Anabel, and all the other caregivers and assistants. A huge thank you to Montaña and Mercedes at reception for always being there to help, and of course to the coordination team, Cristina and Patricia, and the director, Mónica. A million thanks to all of you! For your wonderful people and the amazing team you are. I would recommend this center to anyone who asks because it's one of the few I've ever encountered that offers such empathy and excellent treatment to both residents and their families.

TERRIBLE telephone service. I've called at least five times to get information and put my parents on the waiting list. The last time, they assured me they'd send me everything by email, but nothing happened, and that was months ago. It's a disaster, and I pay to go private. If this is the deal when you sign up, I can't imagine the rest. But of course, they obviously don't need new clients, and that's why they ignore everything, but they could have told you clearly from the beginning and not waste anyone's time.
