Opiniones

A forty-year-old building with a large number of residents and a clean environment. It has gardens, a library, a cafeteria, and a large chapel (not surprisingly, the residence is run by religious leaders, although it is partly funded by the regional government). I visited a resident who has been there for five years for her birthday, and her comments were favorable toward the staff.

My aunt Luisa María stayed there for a few months, but the care she received, from Sister Carmen to the nurses, social worker, and caregivers, was unbeatable. We are very grateful for the great work they did. It's a shame her stay was so short. I highly recommend this residence.

My father was in the care home for almost a year and a half. Every time we visited him, he was perfectly groomed and dressed. Unfortunately, in June he suffered a stroke. He was hospitalized at Valdecilla Hospital, but when they could do nothing more for him, they transferred him to the care home. He was bedridden because he couldn't move or speak. They treated him as if he were one of their own, with great affection, both to him and to us, his family. They allowed us to visit him every day because it was the only way we could see him. He was there for almost three months. He passed away on August 25th, a profoundly painful loss for all of us. The care we received was wonderful; I can't be more grateful to all the staff at the care home. Thank you so much for everything you did for him and for my family. I would especially like to thank Sister Victoria, who is a wonderful person, incredibly sensitive, completely dedicated to her patients, and who helped us so much. I will never forget how well she took care of my father and us: my mother and sisters. THANK YOU!!!!!

As a person who sometimes accompanies a resident to do some paperwork, I want to highlight the kindness with which the two guys who are at Reception treat them; also to me and to anyone who approaches. I thank God for them and also for if I myself or someone else applies for a place and is admitted.
