Opiniones

They're not prepared for certain cases. We admitted my father, and within a week they called my mother several times to complain about his behavior and were very keen to send him to another facility because, according to them, he was problematic. Even when we went to see him, they were very distant with him. They wouldn't shave him, saying it made him violent... when we went to see him, he looked pitiful with all that hair. Another issue is the secrecy... they don't let you into any area, not the rooms, the dining room, nothing... They only greet you at the entrance... Furthermore, you have to give them the day before you plan to visit the resident. We requested a transfer closer to our town, and when they granted the transfer, they wanted us all to move at the last minute; and my mother said she couldn't because we were very busy those days... they showed no consideration or empathy. I absolutely do not recommend this residence. Now my father is in a residence in San Fernando (Vitalia Home), and we are delighted; it's a huge difference in every way. It's a big family...everyone. The staff are lovely.

In our case, we can only express our gratitude to the entire team at this residence, a professional and compassionate staff who demonstrate such dedication and professionalism. Given our family's inability to care for our mother, we find solace and security in them, and that deserves immense gratitude. My mother is Carmen Peralta, and I hope that one day she will understand—I don't know how—that her old age may not have been as she had hoped. But she is in a dignified place—this residence, I can say that. Clean, dignified, and professional, in the hands of people who, in their hearts, serve God first and foremost, and their neighbors professionally, at a very, very delicate and difficult age, I would say… That brings great peace and confidence. (Thank you) Truly to everyone, for the effort and affection, which is so difficult to give to a stranger these days, to give them a smile and even treat them as if they were family despite not being so (thank you truly with all my heart. Sincerely, Sergio del Río.

Only three months in the home and a lot of problems to deal with. Loss of personal belongings, for which they take no remote responsibility. They've replaced most of his clothes with items that don't belong to him and have branded them with his initials without my permission. On visits, they bring him to me poorly dressed and looking bad, his face covered in cuts from hasty and careless shaving. To the point where I found him with half his face shaved and the other half unshaven. My father suffers from dementia and doesn't manage his needs, and I found him without even a diaper or underwear during one of the visits. After several run-ins with the management and staff at the center, I'm determined to file a complaint.
