El Hospital - Asilo Nuestra Señora del Rosario presenta una experiencia mixta: mientras algunos residentes y sus familias valoran la calidez y el ambiente acogedor, existe una preocupación significativa respecto al trato que algunos miembros del personal ofrecen a los abuelos, con reportes de actitudes despectivas y falta de empatía. Sin embargo, se destaca positivamente el trabajo dedicado de nuevo personal que demuestra auténtica afección hacia los residentes, lo que sugiere que mejorar las políticas de personal sería clave para elevar la calidad general de la atención.

I'm a relative of a resident. I've been going there every day for a long, long time, and the way some staff members (from the highest ranking to the lowest) treat the grandparents leaves a lot to be desired. I've seen them speak to them with contempt and rudely. The grandparents, even if they don't think so, notice and take note 😭. Recently, a group of girls came in to cover for some vacancies in different positions, and blessed are they. With what affection they speak to them and treat them. I've seen how our grandparents' eyes light up and how they call them as soon as they hear their voices. The time these girls lose to be with them, even though they can't miss a second of their scheduled hours, is unpaid. But the grandparents and family members are grateful (we've discussed this with several family members). I think it's time to revamp our policies and, above all, our staff.
