Today I want to thank all the workers at Sant Roc de Canet because during the years that my aunt has been at the center, they have kept us informed of everything at all times. We have always felt very well supported. The staff is very attentive and willing to help us. Thank you for everything!!

My mother was admitted to this nursing home because we had no other alternative. She was coming from a difficult situation at home, and we needed a place where she could feel safe and well cared for. However, the experience was very negative. I encountered a largely unprofessional staff, spoiled food, and inappropriate practices, such as medication preparation by assistants instead of nurses. Despite my mother's independence, she was treated as if she weren't, unnecessarily limiting her independence. At the meeting with management, I received explanations that were not true. Furthermore, the treatment from some staff members was rude and lacking in empathy, which made it even more difficult to trust the care received. We came looking for care, respect, and dignity, but unfortunately, that was not what we found. If you love your elderly patients, do not take them to this center or the one in Sant Roc, as they belong to the same owners and repeat the same practices. They do not deserve even one star.

Despite reading comments here that leave me unsure what to think, my personal and heartfelt opinion of this center is a 10 out of 10. The day my parents both moved into San Roc from another facility, I feel like we hit the jackpot from the very first minute. I can only say that the treatment by the staff in general (both trainees and professionals) towards the elderly and visitors is impeccable. Furthermore, the number of staff members assisting the residents is practically equal to the number of residents. The food is homemade daily, and there is thorough and personalized care and monitoring for each resident. In my opinion, it's more of a daycare than a nursing home. And let's not forget the impeccable cleanliness that permeates the entire center. And what can I say about the facilities? It's a converted hotel.

I want to publicly express my deep gratitude and satisfaction with the SANTROCMIRAMAR assisted living residence in Canet de Mar, Barcelona. Sea views. The treatment I have observed from the staff towards the residents, for over two years now (the time my mother Amparo has been there), is truly EXCELLENT. I can see that they love their work, they enjoy what they do, and they care for the dependent elderly with great empathy. They always keep them clean and well-groomed. The residence itself is equally clean, bright, and modern, with varied, nutritious, and delicious food, cooked daily on-site. Congratulations to the nursing technicians, physiotherapists, administrative staff, caregivers, social workers, assistants, psychologist, aides, laundry staff, cleaning staff, activity coordinators, maintenance staff... and everyone in general. The residence always smells fresh. I only noticed one minor incident at the beginning, which, after being reported to management, was resolved immediately. They are always attentive and responsive to requests and communications (I always try to be discreet, moderate, and not intrusive). My mother feels loved, valued, important, cared for, and happy. She is always clean and smells nice. My father (may he rest in peace) was also very well cared for, as were my brother's in-laws. My mother has improved a lot, both emotionally and physically. It's an excellent residence (part of it is subsidized) to leave your loved ones (if you can no longer care for them). The beach and promenade across the street are wonderful. JMAP.

En líneas generales bien. Mi madre, a excepción de algunas cuidadoras despreocupadas y poco empáticas, estuvo bien atendida. Diría que hay un 70% de trabajadores comprometidos y un 30% que no se merecen trabajar en una residencia.Gracias a Cristina, la trabajadora social, y a la mayoría de profesionales del centro. Indicar también que es demasiado grande y masificada.
