La Residencia geriátrica Maria de la Salud destaca por sus excelentes instalaciones, ubicación privilegiada y, especialmente, por el equipo de cuidadores y personal sanitario que demuestra profesionalismo, dedicación y compasión genuina hacia los residentes, lo que ha generado experiencias muy positivas en la mayoría de las familias. Sin embargo, existen preocupaciones importantes respecto a la gestión de la dirección y algunos incidentes reportados con cierto personal, particularmente en el turno nocturno, lo que sugiere la necesidad de una supervisión más rigurosa en determinadas áreas.

The place, when you are inside, may seem idyllic. From its garden you have privileged views of the lower Llobregat and the city of Barcelona, from Collserola to the mountain of Montjuïc, and even the sea. When you are there, in the garden, keeping company with your family or any resident who passes by, you see yourself surrounded by pine trees and the almond trees make them have, at the beginning of spring, their particular Sakura when they are painted white. The tranquility and silence envelop you. But it is when you enter, when you are inside the space where the residents live, on any of its floors when, really, you see what the residence is like or, better, what the people who work there are like. From the medical team, the social care team and, without detracting from anyone, the impressive team of Auxiliaries, guards, caregivers... Whatever you want to call them. These are the people who tirelessly serve the residents and who show a truly remarkable respect, esteem and care for them. The tranquility that the environment transmits to you is also transmitted by the people who are directly in contact with the residents, with our families. Professionalism, respect, compassion reflected in all their actions. They are the best, without a doubt!

My father, may he rest in peace, spent his last years in this residence. I have no words to express how happy he was here. He said it was better than a hotel, that all the nurses (care assistants) were beautiful and so kind to him. He felt so comfortable that it made me happy. I suppose everyone's experience is different, but mine was incredible. I will always be so grateful to this wonderful family. Thank you so much.

The facilities and location are excellent. All the staff are exceptional. The only downside is Mr. Juan, the owner. He has no tact with families and treats the elderly with contempt. It's clear he has no vocation whatsoever. We could see this because he would send us videos of our mother who wasn't well, and he would make fun of her. Thankfully, he's surrounded by very competent people.

Good location and facilities. Most of the staff are attentive. However, the center's management and the doctor leave much to be desired, and there have been some very serious and degrading incidents involving some staff members towards the patient. Close supervision is necessary, especially of the night shift. I do not recommend it.

Excellent, friendly service, everything is very clean, and the residents are very well cared for and clean. It has a lovely back garden, sunny and cool in the summer. They've been handling the virus situation wonderfully. I'm in contact with my family member via video conference. They're making a superhuman effort, for which we will never stop being grateful. My family is eternally grateful. Go and visit.
