La residencia "Refugio de Obreras Fundación Privada" destaca por sus excelentes instalaciones, personal profesional y empático, así como por la amplia variedad de actividades y servicios que ofrecen a los residentes, generando una experiencia que la mayoría describe como superior a otras residencias de la zona. Sin embargo, hay quejas puntuales sobre ruidos generados por el mantenimiento del jardín y algunas fricciones en la atención de seguridad, aunque estas son aspectos menores comparados con la valoración positiva general de la calidad asistencial y el ambiente cálido del lugar.

I only have words of gratitude for the residence and the people who work there. The center is fantastic, with impeccable facilities, spacious and comfortable double rooms that are equipped with adapted bathrooms and a terrace overlooking a beautiful garden where residents can take a nice walk and enjoy the surroundings on sunny days with their families. My mother and I were very happy that she could enter and spend some time in this place, where she felt at home. Unfortunately, she could not enjoy it for as long as we would have liked, but the treatment and service from the staff was unbeatable during the time she lived there. From the director to the social worker, therapists, doctor, nurse, to the geriatric assistant technicians..., all extremely professional, empathetic, kind and caring people with the residents. A place like few others. Among all the residences I've seen in Barcelona, and I've seen many (+15), the best of all.

Very hygienic. The elderly residents seem very well cared for. They attend Mass, participate in sports, etc. The rooms are spacious, and there are always cleaning ladies present. They have complete freedom to come and go, which inspires a lot of confidence.

The truth is that the parking lot is in a very strategic location, with the entrance on Calle Velázquez and the elevator on Calle Ballester. Spaces are quite tight, but I suppose that's like most parking garages these days. Although the infrastructure and location are very good, it's best not to go through the security checkpoint; the person inside isn't always having a good day.

I've been to this nursing home a few times to collaborate with the NGO Adopt a Grandparent, to visit a wonderful woman who had no family. They're truly cared for and looked after, and they have tons of workshops and activities to make old age a pleasant, educational, and fun time for the women who live there. They've changed the way I thought about nursing homes. It's truly a home worth visiting, both for the facilities and the people who work there. I'll always have fond memories of my beloved Matilde.
