Opiniones

The elders are taken care by locals with true love and tenderness. Outstandingly clean and well managed from top to bottom. Deserves higher destinctions.

I see there are no recent reviews. In my case, I can only offer one positive comment for the caregivers who do everything they can despite being understaffed and having a management team with no direction. My mother admitted herself voluntarily. Everything went more or less well while she was independent, but the moment her condition worsened, it was a complete disaster. Ulcers appeared on her legs, and she ended up with wounds covering 50% of her lower legs, with no guidance on wound care or bandaging procedures. She fell, fracturing her hip and requiring 15 days of rest. They never got her out of the wheelchair again, and they didn't provide the rehabilitation prescribed by the doctors. She experienced swelling in her extremities, clear symptoms of fluid retention, and received absolutely no treatment. Her dementia worsened, accompanied by aggression, and there was no communication about this, yet they administered haloperidol. Now that she's been transferred to our home in the Basque Country, the situation is as follows: - Leg ulcers completely healed - Swelling subsiding during the first week with proper furosemide administration. - She walks perfectly in the house holding our hand - Dementia symptoms are being corrected with the administration and adjustment of the appropriate medication It's a shame that a residence that has been a benchmark in the care of its residents is managed so poorly, although in my opinion, with this type of management, I'm not surprised—a real opportunist and shameless opportunist. When the most senior and experienced staff are leaving, it's a clear sign that something is wrong. Finally, this residence belongs to the Lares Association. I filed a complaint with the Social Services Department of Asturias, contacted them, and provided a copy of the complaint. They expressed interest and opened an investigation into the matter. To this day, after three months, I still haven't received a response. The same pattern of management and shamelessness persists.

Everything was excellent. The residents are treated with care and a very personal touch. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. They do a great job.

A magnificent residence, for its care and affection for all its elderly residents. Its facilities are magnificent. On behalf of my wife and myself, I would like to thank you for the care and affection you showed my mother-in-law, Paquita.
