La Residencia Sierra del Cuera presenta opiniones muy polarizadas: mientras algunos residentes elogian las excelentes condiciones, la limpieza y la atención del personal, otros denuncian un deterioro significativo en la calidad de la comida, la insuficiencia de personal de asistencia y problemas graves en la administración de medicamentos, situación que ha empeorado tras cambios en la gestión. Las críticas más severas cuestionan si la residencia cumple con los estándares mínimos de cuidado sanitario, aunque los trabajadores parecen estar comprometidos a pesar de las limitaciones de recursos.

After five weeks as a guest recovering from leg surgery, with no other public option in eastern Asturias, I have lived in this residence under excellent conditions in every respect. There are few minor issues and minimal criticism to be made of the staff's outstanding work. Those who live here are truly fortunate, surrounded by guardian angels. I hope the local, regional, and autonomous authorities will recognize their excellence.

CURRENTLY, THEY ARE POORLY PERFORMING. When Eloy ran the nursing home, it was a benchmark in Asturias. Now, with the arrival of members completely unrelated to the residents' needs, not only has the quality of lunches and dinners decreased significantly (residents are fed, but malnourished), but the ratio of assistants is minimal, leaving residents unattended. The new commitment to a new pharmaceutical collaboration is a complete disaster: constant confusion over medication administration. My relative is able to differentiate between the correct and incorrect medication, but many of the users are not, which endangers the patients' health. The staff does absolutely everything they can, but there are so few of them that the basic needs of our relatives are not met. Meanwhile, the "members" remain silent, stating that "this is what it is and if the resident isn't happy, they can leave." This for the modest price of €2,245 per month. A REAL DISGRACE, with a complete failure to comply with the minimum requirements under healthcare regulations. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS HOME.

It's in a quiet location. Residents have freedom to come and go. The residence is very clean, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
