Opiniones

My grandmother has been at the Santa Elena residence for years, and we have nothing but praise for her stay. The staff is attentive and professional in their care and in the support they give us, the family, which isn't always easy. On the other hand, I also have to say that it's clear they strive every day to improve the building and the residents' living conditions. Thank you for everything.

My mother has been in this residential home for a few weeks, and so far we're very happy. She looks relaxed, well-groomed, and happy... We were very afraid to take the step of taking her out of the house, but they're well cared for, and we feel safe. Whenever a question arises, they are very kind. If I had listened to the previous reviews, we wouldn't be here. That's why I'm writing this review, because good things are also worth telling.

This is not a recommended place to take a loved one. We had a very bad experience during our loved one's last days before he died during the Covid era. The facilities are very sad. They've "renovated" the entrance by painting and decorating, but the interior is falling apart, the cleaning is poor, and the facilities are beyond sad. As in all areas, there are dedicated and caring staff, but we've also encountered some of the opposite.

They're disgraceful. They treat the elderly like sacks of potatoes, and they treat them even worse if they dare say anything to their family members. They even throw them from their chairs to their beds to keep them quiet. They force food down their throats, and if they don't gobble it down, they take their plates away, and they go hungry. Even when they're sick and have a fever, they avoid calling medical services at all costs. They take away walking sticks, blankets, and so on. Their motto is to get the job done quickly and spend as little as possible. They treat the elderly like nuisances, and they're all hassles and problems if family members want access to see them. Only in controlled environments and never by surprise. More than once, we found that they hadn't even been taken out of the room since morning, even though it was 6 p.m. I hope they pay for all this and the owner ends up behind bars.

The residence is located in the best area for walks with our elderly relatives. The care is incredibly attentive and loving, which is exactly what they need. The menus are excellent and perfectly suited to their needs—what more could you ask for? The cleanliness is impeccable; it's impossible to meet 100% of the demands of so many families. Keep it up, even if a few have something to say! Hugs
