I moved my mother from a center where she was unhappy to the Valle Olid day center, primarily because of the extended hours and the transportation service, which was arranged to meet my needs as soon as I requested it. Over time, I've realized that, in addition to these two factors, there's something even more important: it's a true and genuine "family living unit." My mother, sadly, can't tell me anything, but I sense she's serene and happy. She asks me daily if the day center is open because she wants to go. And at the Christmas celebration, I witnessed firsthand the compassionate care they provide to all users, without any discrimination. I couldn't be more grateful.
