I'm speaking from the perspective of a son-in-law. My mother-in-law is a completely different person since she started attending the Tierra Sur Day Unit. Her ailments, her activity level, her mental agility, and ultimately... her will to live have improved 100%. The staff is incredibly kind and professional. They treat "their" elderly residents like family, and speaking of family, they make life so much easier and more comfortable for us relatives. My mother has been going to Tierra Sur for a year now. It's a center where you can feel the warmth, humanity, and joy; it's a truly family-like environment. They always keep us informed about everything that's happening there, and they organize countless different and enriching activities for their clients, covering a variety of themes and traditional activities appropriate for their age, as well as excursions throughout the year. They have a hairdresser, podiatrist, and physiotherapist to help with muscle development, which is so important at this age, because movement is life. For health matters, they also have a nurse on staff, who are in contact with the health center, for example, for the flu vaccination campaign. In short, we are incredibly grateful and happy with the entire team, who are wonderful.
