My mother came to Net Avó every day from the time she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's until her death six years later. Net Avó was also her family during those six years. Her enthusiasm, her motivation, her leisure time, her connection to the world and her disconnection from her illness. Pedro and his team made her feel valuable, important, capable, necessary. They knew her well, they loved her, they made her feel wanted. The last years of her life were, despite everything, wonderful, with extraordinary quality and warmth, of which Net Avó has been a central part. There will never be enough words to thank you for all that love, dedication and care. Your work is essential and we sincerely wish each and every one of you the best, because you deserve it. As far as daycare centers go, it's the best I've ever seen for our seniors. The staff is exceptionally kind and very knowledgeable. You feel like you're in good hands. It's not like a daycare center, but rather like a pleasant, homey room with a huge window and a small terrace where you can have a drink in the sun. You want to stay with them.
