While political leaders relax in their mansions, paid for with dubious deals linked to healthcare services, our elderly spend their final moments in places like this. It's a shame what kind of society we're left with. At first, it seemed like a wonderful place, large, with improvements thanks to continuous renovations. The website states that they specialize in cases of cognitive decline such as senile dementia... But as time goes on, you realize that's not the case. The elevators are more often broken than working, there's a staff shortage that's evident, for example, in our elderly residents spending hours dozing next to the televisions, which are their only source of stimulation. The heating in the rooms is broken on the worst winter days, and there's no supervision whatsoever during mealtimes or medication administration due to the lack of staff. All of this is under the supervision of management and social workers who are completely pro-business. They don't attend to family members, and if you ask for a complaint form, they put obstacles in your way to prevent you from doing so. As I said, it's a shame, and you're complicit in the decline of services for our elderly. I don't think the financial compensation is worth it to our collective conscience. Think about all our elders have already suffered and fought for, only to end up like this.

Zero communication with family members. Complete neglect of residents. No one ever knows anything about how your loved one is doing. Lost belongings and no one ever knows... We decided to move our relative and it took us more than 15 days to recover their belongings, and to this day we are still waiting for some of their things. 100% not recommended.

I'm the granddaughter of a resident, and I've noticed a complete lack of follow-up regarding her medication. Imagine our shock when we found over 50 pills hidden in her room! This negligence only leads to further cognitive decline. It's a shame that with the money we pay, she isn't receiving the basic and necessary care.

The facilities are very good, and so is the care. My father was there for eight months, and then we moved the facility so he could be closer to home. During his time there, he was always well cared for. Keep in mind that these are large centers with a lot of people, so especially at the beginning, you'll have to go often and make small adjustments with the staff.

My mother has been here for almost two years. At first, everything was fine. For some time now, there's been a lack of communication between the residence and family members. If she has any illness or injury, unless you visit her, they're incapable of calling you and telling you anything. They don't follow up on how she's doing. In short, the relationship is quite chaotic. I should add that we also found more than 50 pills that my mother had kept in her room. It's clear they're not monitoring whether she takes them. It's serious negligence. What's truly shameful is that, considering the money we pay, my mother arrives home at night after being discharged from surgery, and even though there are two nurses in the infirmary, neither of them bothers to go up with a family member to check on her. Since this group took over, it's become more of a business (priority number one) than a place to care for our elderly. This isn't a hotel or a parking lot for seniors, but lately, unfortunately, that's what it seems like.
