El Centro de día Orpea San Blas recibe evaluaciones muy polarizadas, con críticas graves sobre el trato a residentes con deterioro cognitivo, problemas de mantenimiento sin resolver (ruido persistente, teléfonos dañados), falta de respuesta del personal administrativo y presuntas prácticas negligentes, aunque algunos usuarios destacan las instalaciones modernas, el trato amable de ciertos profesionales de enfermería y trabajo social, y la buena organización de espacios. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I had a very dear relative with Alzheimer's there, and if their mind is impaired, they do whatever they want with them. They give them tranquilizers so they won't bother anyone, even if they're peaceful. They leave them sitting in chairs for more than eight hours, covered in urine, even if they're taking furosemide. Luckily, she wasn't there for very long. They treat them terribly... I took her out as soon as I could. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has a family member with cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's. NOT EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY. It's a shame that centers like this exist (especially considering how expensive they are...).

Since October 26, 2024, the ringtone on my relative's room phone has been very low. Because the phone doesn't have a volume control, we requested a replacement with a model that has a louder ringtone. To this day, the phone hasn't been replaced, and for the past two weeks, I haven't been able to speak with my relative on many days because they can't hear the ringtone. The afternoon receptionist advised us to contact maintenance and then the head housekeeper to resolve the issue. However, the morning receptionist on January 2nd refused to transfer my call to either maintenance or the head housekeeper to discuss the problem and hung up on me. Not content with that, she didn't answer my calls again until I called from a different number. I believe that neither the attitude of the care home, nor especially that of the receptionist, leaves much to be desired in terms of the care we expect for our elderly relatives if they are capable of leaving them without communication simply because they can't be bothered to replace a telephone that would allow them to receive calls from their families. I hope that the care home takes the appropriate measures to resolve the problem immediately and condemns the attitude of the staff who provide such unprofessional treatment to those of us who are, ultimately, their clients.

Very good treatment for both guests and family members. The facilities are modern and well-thought-out, including dining areas on each floor. This is appreciated at lunch and dinner times. I would like to thank the nursing staff and receptionists, Mar for her help with some procedures and Apollo for resolving some issues. Also, I would like to thank the social worker, Claudia, for her professionalism, dedication, and kindness, both for her treatment of my mother and for her guidance on various questions. Overall, a good nursing home. I would also like to thank the director for his cordiality and enthusiasm. It's a highly recommended nursing home.

Update as of November 2025: The noise is still the same or worse, as some days they "forget" to turn off the chimney or the appliance that generates noise in the kitchens at night, so we have noise all night long. They came to measure the noise in 2023 and it's at the daytime decibel limit, so we have to put up with it. We know it's a faulty appliance, but it's been several years and they haven't fixed it. Situation in 2023: Regarding the noise issue, I went to the residence in June to complain, and nothing was done. Similarly, a neighbor called them 10 days ago, and they said the director would call her back, but she's still waiting. This noise issue affects everyone, even the residents when they go for walks or to the park, as it can be heard perfectly.

A center with negligent and disrespectful staff. A complete disappointment. The cleaning staff are people with little to no respect. If this is how they treat each other, I can't imagine how they must treat the patients. They should have a cohesive team with values and respect.
