Opiniones

My mother has been there for almost two years, and I can only say a heartfelt THANK YOU. It's a small, family-run center, but it's the best place for someone with cognitive impairment because they feel right at home. They always made me feel safe having my mother there, with personalized attention and a warm, personal approach. Paco, the director, makes the process much easier and is always empathetic with the family. Joana, Elena... they were my mother's familiar faces; sometimes she'd go with them before me! Haha. It's the best day center where your loved ones could be. A 10 out of 10 for quality and compassion.

I'm giving five stars because I don't want to negatively impact the center, and I'm unfamiliar with the quality of their service, but I wanted to leave a comment. Yesterday, it snowed in Madrid, and we were caught off guard. There's a parking area reserved for the vehicle that transports the elderly residents. We stopped briefly to quickly clear the snow from the windshield and free the wipers, without realizing that the vehicle transporting the residents was approaching from behind. A staff member from the center came over to tell us we couldn't park there, and I said it was just for a moment. In a very rude and impolite manner, she replied, "There are no 'moments' that count." As I said at the beginning, we didn't realize the center's vehicle was approaching from behind; otherwise, we obviously wouldn't have stopped there to clear the snow from the windshield. We simply wanted to brush off the snow by hand for a few seconds, and you're right that we shouldn't stop there, but at least speak to people politely. If she had simply said, "Hello, excuse me, there's a vehicle behind us and we need you to move," we would have apologized without hesitation and moved immediately. I hope that with customers, and especially with the elderly people who work at the center, they will be kinder and more polite. Unfortunately, I got a bad first impression. I want to believe that the employee's rudeness was due to the stress of the snowfall at a specific moment and that it's not her usual attitude. Even so, I think things can be communicated with a minimum of courtesy.

My mother has been attending this day center for at least five years now, and I can only thank Cristina and the entire staff for the care, warmth, and familiarity we've received. The progress my mother has made in her independence, how happy she is every day, and the love she receives are priceless. We're going to miss you all so much.
