We only have words of gratitude for this Day Center, but for our family members, it's a second home. My mother was there for almost a year and a half until she had to move to a Residential Center due to medical and physical circumstances. From the very beginning, both the treatment she received and that of us (her daughters) was excellent. Despite her illness, my mother remained stable and showed slight improvement for a time after entering El Abrazo. I would like to thank all the professionals there. They are the ones who treat our family members as if they were their own. The treatment from the Director, Marisa, was excellent, professional, and personal (which helps a lot because you feel a little lost with all the changes we noticed in my mother and how she and the staff were always giving us advice and recommendations). That's why I would recommend El Abrazo to anyone who doesn't want to be alone at home, whether due to age or to family members whose illnesses prevent us from caring for them for a few hours. They are cared for there from the moment they arrive in the morning until they leave in the afternoon. Many thanks to everyone: Mercedes, María (my mother's tutor), Paqui (brunette), Paqui (blonde), Rosa, Ana, and María (psychology), MariCasti (physio), Sonia (occupational therapist), Michael (administration), Laura, and all the interns who came through; even the French girls. I know there have been some changes, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some names, but that doesn't mean the affection is any different. Many kisses to all the residents who are still there and who we also really care about. Marisa, the work you do is excellent. Keep going like this and pursue the dreams that remain...

Excellent day care center. My mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's, stayed there for three years and always received humane, caring, and very professional treatment. The team is exceptional, and the dedication and love with which they work is evident. I am very grateful for everything they did for her and for us as a family.

My mother is so happy to get up and go to the center with her friends! She's improved a lot physically; she's gained weight—she was very thin—and when she's there, she cooperates and seems very comfortable with the activities. They all seem like really good people and very polite when they treat our seniors! So, I couldn't ask for more if my mother is happy and well, and so am I. Keep up the wonderful work; it's so important for everyone! A big hug!
