I'm giving it one star because it's unprofessional. The care is terrible and they lack professionalism. If patients don't bring tranquilizers, they don't want them there. I understand they want them to be relaxed, but it seems the people at this place just want them to sit and not be bothered. They don't care whether they're eating or not, and in our case, our family member even went outside alone, so we assume someone opened the door from inside, as she isn't strong enough to do it herself. Whether or not it was a worker who let her out, the other staff members weren't paying attention. In addition to the usual medication, they give them "a few extra drops," and sometimes they overdo the dose so much that they end up urinating on themselves. Our family member came with a change of clothes every day, but we weren't told why. It got to the point where they overdosed her so much that she couldn't even talk or walk. Fortunately, there were a few days when she couldn't go to the center because she couldn't get out of bed. Once she was home, the effects of this overmedication wore off. She started talking again, eating on her own, and acting independently to the extent she could before. After this, we decided to remove her from the center, where she'd been from September to January. It was enough to see a dramatic deterioration that we thought was a health issue. Today, we know it wasn't due to that, but rather to the excessive medication she was receiving from this center. She's currently independent, both in eating and using the bathroom, something that stopped being the case during the months she was at the center. They should be ashamed of the way they treat patients. Be careful with your elders.

I just saw some reviews of this center that, in my opinion, are completely wrong. I had the experience with my father the year before COVID, and until March 2020, we were very happy with their work and the care they provided. People should see how they treat their own families at home and then complain about how things are done in care facilities. My father needed medication, and they gave it to him perfectly. The claim that they give them whatever they want there is simply not true. Where would they get so much medication? If anyone wants to take a family member there, go ahead and do so with complete peace of mind; they are very professional. Besides, people should take a good look at themselves. I have known this day center for years, and through a friend whose mother was there, I know that they are good workers, concerned about the users and communicative at all times.

Our experience at the center was not that bad, I would dare to say terrible, we have already requested the removal of my mother's position, even so I am in favor of the fact that these centers do a great job in reconciling work and life, I am very sorry for giving a negative rating, but they deserve less, and they know it too, they messed up with her not only once but several times and this last one is unforgivable, I can explain what happened to whoever wants, all they want is care, I do not recommend it at all
