I want to highlight the work and dedication shown to our family members with Alzheimer's, improving their quality of life by offering care and medical services. They are a great team of professionals, but we mustn't forget the entire nursing staff: dedicated caregivers who are there for each of them while they eat, walk, play, draw, dance... and participate with them in every moment of their day with affection and personalized attention. They often soothe their anxieties, which are many (we caregivers know this all too well), and offer them a parallel world adapted to each individual. And let's not forget their impeccable hygiene in the face of so many bodily accidents. I have no words to express my gratitude. Without them, I would have been lost, and their sacrifice has given my little family a better quality of life. I know it's their job, but it can be done with feeling and sensitivity, with motivation, or it can just be a day job. I came across them because I met a former employee who had dedicated 25 years to the center. She told me they would be very happy here and described how they would be welcomed in the mornings for coffee with friends, how the Tuna (a traditional Spanish student music group) would come to sing to them, how the bagpipers would play, how they would dress up for Carnival, how children from the school would visit and interact with them, and so many other activities that you'll see in the program. I just want my comment to help you have a better quality of life, especially for them, but also for us. Thank you, Isabel, to you and your colleagues for being there and taking care of them. Thank you to the director, Elisa, for creating this center.

The photo of the facade shown on Google is incorrect. AFACO on Petunias Street is currently open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. In my experience, finding this association has been a great help; the therapies they offer are effective and help people with dementia lead as "normal" a life as possible.

On March 13th, around 11:00 AM, my father went to the AFACO center on Salvador de Madariaga to ask for information. The young woman refused to give him any information in a very rude and disrespectful manner. It was a terrible experience. We will be filing a complaint with AFACO so that its administrators know who they have working with the public, no less. It is unacceptable that a center for the elderly has such a woman. We are sure that the rest of the staff is polite. It was a disastrous experience. The young woman is at the AFACO center on Salvador de Madariaga. Very, very bad. AWFUL.

I am very grateful for the way they treated my father and the family. I highly recommend them! They are very attentive to the patient, knowing how to stimulate them with different therapies and with great patience and affection. During my father's hospital stays, they were always concerned, constantly asking about him, sending us encouraging messages, etc. From my father and the whole family, THANK YOU!

I would like to thank the AFACO staff for the excellent treatment I received throughout the years my mother attended the day care centers. I recommend it 100%.
