Opiniones

Are professionals who have invested years of time and effort in making this center a benchmark for care leaving? What is happening at this center? Do those in charge plan to do anything about it? Do they plan to improve the situation of the center's workers? Improve the living conditions of the residents? In short, are those in charge responsible and committed to the sector and to the elderly?

Responding to carpediem, based on your opinions, I don't think your relative would be well cared for anywhere. If that's what you believe, you should have taken them to another facility or to your home instead of putting them through this ordeal. I'm from the Santa Eulalia neighborhood and I know the residence, just as I know the Jericó residence, since my mother was a resident there for seven years and I only have words of gratitude for the excellent treatment and care she received until she passed away.

Not recommended. Lack of professionalism and care from assistants who don't know how to feed properly, a doctor who can't diagnose in a timely manner, a director with a lack of education. A resident with dysphagia (swallowing) and severe respiratory problems, who is fed by the spoonful, and recurrent bronchospasms. You didn't bother to bring her the oxygen machine she already had at the other nursing home in Jericó (which cost me a complaint). And when I ask for an explanation about her last hospital stay, which ended in her DEATH, the director's response is: "You're in a nursing home for seniors; the doctor saw her well that morning." She was old, yes, but she deserves dignified and humane treatment, not what you've done to her. I also emphasize that in Jericó, she appeared with bruises all the time, and by chance, those bruises disappeared while she was in Santa Eulalia. The treatment you give is inhumane, and you think nothing will ever happen to you because social services will take care of you. But there are already many families who realize this and won't remain silent.

My father has been a resident at this nursing home for a few months. I have nothing but words of gratitude and respect for everyone there for the work they do every day with our seniors. My father has undergone a spectacular physical and psychological change. The information and communication with family members is constant and fluid. I just have to say THANK YOU.

Based on my experience with my two grandmothers, it's a great home where people are treated very well. Thanks to the staff, who are very close to the grandparents and grandmothers as well as to the relatives, they make them feel very comfortable. I also want to highlight the activities within the center and the excursions they offer, which make the days more entertaining and enjoyable. I'd like to end by thanking the staff who have taken such good care of my grandmothers!
