Opiniones

The only resistance in the Sariego Council is a nursing home with no food, mistreating the elderly, and employing unqualified staff. The owner stays overnight, leaving the residents unattended at night, and she doesn't care. And this is allowed in a town that was exemplary 19 years ago 🤦🏻‍♂️. Mr. Mayor, have you forgotten about the sanctioning procedure, or do you simply not want to?

We admitted Carmen, our mother-in-law, in May. She came from another nursing home—comparisons are odious, but here she was delighted with her independence. She could freely come and go, use the facilities as she pleased, supervised but not overwhelmed. It was wonderful to visit her and find her cheerful, well-dressed, and clean. Everyone has their own armchair, their own space, a clean room, good lighting, and a bathroom—everything was always spotless. Her wardrobe was always tidy. We are so grateful to everyone for the care you gave her. Thank you, Tamara, Amparo, Clara, and Rosa. Carmen passed away on Friday the 24th, surrounded by loved ones. And we are all so grateful for all your work. May you never lose that enthusiasm and affection for our elderly residents. Thank you, thank you all.
