    They took my father out without handkerchiefs, his glasses were dirty, the acne they put on him wasn't my father's, it was my neighbor's who has already passed away. They operated on my father's eyes and covered the wrong eye.

    Unfortunately, staff shortages are affecting the care of our elderly. Specifically, the caregivers in the unit where my grandmother is located are unaware that she has recovered from COVID-19, and they are also unaware that, as a result of the illness, she cannot stand or walk as she used to. It is imperative that more staff be hired to provide the service that our elderly deserve and for which they religiously pay.
